NURSING PROFESSION FROM NURSING STUDENTS' PERSPECTIVES: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY

Abstract
 This research was carried out to determine the nursing students' perceptions of profession. The is descriptive and cross-sectional. sample study consisted 183 volunteer students studying at department a university in Izmir between October 5, 2020 - December 8, 2021. "Individual Identification Form" "Nursing Profession Perception Scale" were used collect data. In evaluation data, statistics qualitative variables, non-parametric tests used. Students' total score 87.60 ± 9.03 from scale, professional qualification sub-dimension 66.90 7.46, occupational status 20.69 2.44. There statistically significant difference qualifications gender class students. According liking profession, there remarkable sub-dimension, gender, scale. It determined that perception profession high. recommended carry further studies improve nurse candidates towards positive way.
